After an early breakfast, set out on a scenic drive through the Aravalli hills to the mighty Kumbhalgarh Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This remote hilltop fortress, once the bastion of Mewar rulers, boasts the second-longest continuous wall in the world (over 36 km) and over 300 temples within. Explore Badal Mahal, the colorful palace at the summit, Rani Mahal, and the serene Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The fort’s massive ramparts offer breathtaking views of the countryside and are steeped in the lore of Maharana Pratap’s birthplace. Return to Jodhpur in the evening. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey through Rajasthan’s sun-baked terrain to Jaisalmer, the Golden City. On arrival, check into your hotel.
