The road to Agra winds through the heart of the Gangetic Plain. Upon arrival, all eyes turn to the dazzling white silhouette of the Taj Mahal—a poem in marble, standing still in time and emotion. Watch the sunlight dance across its domes and minarets, a breathtaking tribute to eternal love. At Agra Fort, delve into royal chambers and gardens that once housed emperors and whispered courtly intrigue. Before nightfall, stroll through the vibrant markets echoing with the clang of brassware and scent of rose attar.
Your journey continues westward, but not without a stop at Abhaneri, home to the awe-inspiring Chand Baori, an ancient stepwell that descends into geometric perfection. In Jaipur, the Pink City welcomes you with its terra-cotta hues and regal charm. Settle into your royal-style accommodations and wander through local bazaars ablaze with textiles, gems, and mirror-work treasures.
This morning, ascend the cobbled ramparts of Amber Fort in a jeep or on elephant-back, entering a realm of mirror-lined halls and Rajput valor. Return to the city to admire the City Palace’s ornate courtyards and royal artifacts. Gaze skyward at Jantar Mantar, where stone instruments still map the stars. Complete the day at the iconic Hawa Mahal—its filigree windows catching the afternoon light like lacework in stone.
Drive through Rajasthan’s sun-drenched countryside to Chittorgarh, where echoes of Rajput bravery still resound within its mighty fort. Roam past battle-scarred gates, romantic towers, and solemn palaces before continuing to Udaipur—the City of Lakes. Arriving by sunset, the shimmering waters of Lake Pichola greet you like an old friend.
Begin with the resplendent City Palace, perched on the lake’s edge, its balconies offering panoramic views of Udaipur’s old town and surrounding hills. Visit Jagdish Temple with its intricate carvings, and stroll the Saheliyon Ki Bari gardens, once a retreat for royal maidens. In the golden glow of evening, glide across Lake Pichola on a boat ride past the fairytale Lake Palace and Jag Mandir.
Drive through the Aravalli hills to Ranakpur and lose yourself in the labyrinthine Jain Temples, every column carved uniquely in marble. Continue onward to Jodhpur, where indigo-washed houses crowd beneath the mighty Mehrangarh Fort. As the desert light softens, settle into your regal stay in the Blue City.
Towering above the city, Mehrangarh Fort looms like a guardian of history. Explore its ramparts, galleries, and courtyards echoing with heroic tales. Visit Jaswant Thada, a luminous cenotaph of white marble, and the regal Umaid Bhawan Palace. In the old city, lose yourself in Sardar Market’s maze of spices, antiques, and fabrics.
As your car heads westward, the landscape flattens and golden sand begins to ripple on the horizon. Arrive in Jaisalmer, rising like a mirage from the Thar Desert. Relax at your hotel, or take in sunset views from the fort’s ramparts, where golden stone blazes under the dying sun.
Enter the living fortress of Jaisalmer, where golden sandstone walls house narrow alleys, bustling with artisans and traders. Visit the Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, their facades carved like lace. As dusk falls, head to the Sam Sand Dunes. Ride a camel into the open desert and watch a traditional performance under the stars.

Arrive in Kanyakumari, India’s southernmost point. Visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and gaze at the confluence of three seas. As the sun sets over the horizon, the sky ignites with orange and violet hues.
Wake early to witness the breathtaking sunrise. Visit the Kanyakumari Temple and climb to the Thiruvalluvar Statue, standing tall in tribute to Tamil philosophy and wisdom.
Travel to Kovalam, Kerala’s beach jewel. Spend the afternoon lounging on Lighthouse Beach or exploring Ayurveda spas nestled in coconut groves.
Drive to Alleppey and step aboard a traditional houseboat. Cruise through tranquil canals lined with paddy fields, water lilies, and village life. Feast on Kerala cuisine as the boat drifts into a peaceful night.
Disembark and travel to Cochin airport for your flight north. Arrive in Srinagar, where the Kashmir Valley welcomes you with cool mountain air. Rest in your houseboat on Dal Lake.
Glide across Dal Lake on a Shikara, passing floating markets and lotus gardens. Explore the Mughal Gardens—Shalimar, Nishat, and Chashme Shahi—and visit the serene Hazratbal Shrine.
Drive to Gulmarg, where pine forests give way to snow-capped mountains. Ride the Gondola up to Apharwat Peak for panoramic Himalayan views. In winter, try skiing; in summer, stroll through wildflower meadows.

Float down the Ganges at dawn, as temple bells ring and the faithful gather for morning prayers. Explore narrow lanes to visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and then Sarnath, where the Buddha gave his first sermon.
Fly to Delhi for your onward journey. Reflect on the mosaic of landscapes, cultures, and memories gathered over 34 extraordinary days across Incredible India.
Does what it says on the tin - A very good tour of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. The breakfast at local hotel was lovely - I had paneer paratha and a masala omelette.

Amazing experience of the Taj Mahal - The views were amazing even though we were disappointed that it was cloudy so we couldn’t view the sunset or the sunrise so maybe check your weather report before you... read more book. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and took the best pictures. My husband and I were very happy we booked the tour and would definitely recommend to others . Best way to see and learn about the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj. However, be careful with the photographers in the Taj. The pictures taken of us were bad and we had to part with a 100USD. Other than this than left a sour taste, the tour itself and guide were first class ! Ek Number !
Great trip - Views and locations with hotels were great. Also, the driver provided was very humble and a very nice person.
