Important Notes
Arrive in Udaipur, often hailed as the "Venice of the East." Check in to your hotel and take some time to unwind. In the evening, head to the lively Lake Pichola, where golden hour bathes the palaces in a magical hue. Enjoy a leisurely lakeside stroll or sip chai at an old-world rooftop café overlooking the tranquil waters. If time permits, explore Hathi Pol Bazaar for miniature paintings and handcrafted souvenirs. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
After breakfast, begin your sightseeing with a visit to the awe-inspiring City Palace Complex, one of Rajasthan’s largest and most ornate. Marvel at its majestic courtyards, mirrored halls, and royal artifacts in the museum. Then walk to the nearby Jagdish Temple, an intricately carved 17th-century temple devoted to Lord Vishnu.
Later, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, drifting past the fairytale Lake Palace (Taj) and Jag Mandir Island Palace, surrounded by the Aravallis. End your day at the serene Saheliyon Ki Bari, a charming garden created for royal ladies, adorned with fountains, marble pavilions, and lotus pools. Optional: Attend the cultural folk show at Bagore Ki Haveli in the evening. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Check out after breakfast and journey through forested hills to Kumbhalgarh, a fortress city hidden in the Aravalli ranges. Upon arrival, ascend the rugged trail leading to Kumbhalgarh Fort, an architectural marvel built by Maharana Kumbha in the 15th century. Explore the massive stone ramparts—36 km long, making it the second-longest wall in the world.
Within the fort, visit the Badal Mahal (Palace of Clouds), offering panoramic views of the valleys below, and the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, one of over 300 temples nestled in the fort. Spend time soaking in the history and serenity of this mountain stronghold. Overnight stay in Kumbhalgarh.
After a hearty breakfast, depart for Mount Abu, the only hill station in Rajasthan. The drive ascends into a cooler, greener terrain, where lakes and granite cliffs replace desert sands. On arrival, check in and relax. As evening approaches, head to Sunset Point or Honeymoon Point to watch the sun dip behind the hills in a blaze of colors, casting a golden glow over the Aravalli range. Enjoy the cool breeze and tranquil vibes. Overnight stay in Mount Abu.
After breakfast, begin with the sacred Dilwara Jain Temples, masterpieces of marble architecture, especially known for their finely carved ceilings and doorways. These 11th- to 13th-century temples are a spiritual and artistic marvel.
Then visit the ancient Achalgarh Fort, built by Rana Kumbha, which houses temples like Achaleshwar Mahadev. Later, stroll through Trevor’s Tank, a peaceful birdwatching site surrounded by forest. Snap photos at Toad Rock, a natural rock formation that resembles a toad poised to leap into Nakki Lake.
End the day with a tranquil boat ride on Nakki Lake, set against misty hills, followed by street food and shopping at the bustling Tibetan Market. Overnight stay in Mount Abu.
Enjoy breakfast and check out for your return to Udaipur. On arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free for exploration or relaxation. You may visit Fateh Sagar Lake, a quiet retreat ideal for a sunset walk or a scenic boat ride. Don’t miss Moti Magri (Pearl Hill) for views of Udaipur and the bronze statue of Maharana Pratap. Shop for Pichwai paintings, kathputlis (puppets), and silver jewelry in local bazaars. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
After a farewell breakfast, check out and proceed to the airport or railway station with memories of serene lakes, towering forts, divine temples, and hilltop sunsets. Your journey through Rajasthan’s most majestic retreats comes to a close, leaving your heart a little fuller and your spirit a little freer.

Please do not buy... read more photos inside the Taj Mahal
Amazing experience of the Taj Mahal - The views were amazing even though we were disappointed that it was cloudy so we couldn’t view the sunset or the sunrise so maybe check your weather report before you... read more book. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and took the best pictures. My husband and I were very happy we booked the tour and would definitely recommend to others . Best way to see and learn about the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj. However, be careful with the photographers in the Taj. The pictures taken of us were bad and we had to part with a 100USD. Other than this than left a sour taste, the tour itself and guide were first class ! Ek Number !
