Day 02 From Amritsar to the Sacred Path – Katra and the Call of Vaishno Devi

Today’s journey takes you deeper into spiritual India as you drive for around six hours from Amritsar to Katra, nestled at the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains. After checking in at your hotel and relaxing, prepare for a pilgrimage that draws millions annually – the revered Vaishno Devi Temple. Whether you're skiing down powdered slopes or simply marvelling at the panoramic Himalayan views, Gulmarg will leave an indelible mark on your soul. Return to Srinagar by evening for an overnight stay.
